Pentaflex / isofom is a flexible insulating tube, closed cell polyethylene foam , obtained by extrussion , pearl gray coloured.
Pentaflex / Isofom is produced in Standard version ( without external protection) and “R” version (with external protection).
Pentaflex / Isofom is coated externally with a completely scratch resistant adhesive film, which assures exceptional resistance to abrasion and scratching.
Pentaflex / Isofom has high insulating power , closed cell structure gives the material exceptional resistance to the passage of heat or cold , the entire thickness of the insulation and 0.034 Kcal / h mºC cause a considerable energy saving which obtaines a decrease in the cost of installation.
An insulating tube Pentaflex / Isofom 10 mm thick reduces heat loss by about 75 % compared to an uninsulated pipe .
Pentaflex / Isofom is distinguished from the competition because of it’s product quality , because the tiny closed cells perform a true ” vapor barrier ” around the tube that carries cold fluids , preventing leaks of water vapor , thereby avoiding condensation , eliminating the risk of frost in the air-conditioning and refrigeration.
Pentaflex / Isofom also gets an effective reduction of the level of vibration and noise throughout the installation.
Pentaflex / Isofom guarantees a remarkable dimensional stability, not producing strain elongations different from those set forth in the certificate of dimensional stability contractions.
